Objectives and Outcomes
Semley Village Hall aims to foster social inclusion, community belonging and maintain community vitality by providing:
individuals and groups, regardless of age, health, social and economic background, with
safe, accessible, suitably equipped, multiple use community facilities, that are
suitable for a wide range of community group and self- improvement activities, and are
available throughout the year.
The desired outcomes are to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment in which residents and visitors, including those with a disability, can meet and participate in a wide range of activities that will stimulate wider community engagement and participation by all age groups and:
improve/maintain physical, mental health and well-being, and intellectual stimulation;
provide recreation, leisure, cultural, educational and vocational activities;
combat loneliness and isolation, strengthen community bonds and identity, increase social inclusion, cohesion and resilience;
provide volunteering opportunities; and
improve the local economy and sustainability
Management Committee Meetings
Management meetings are held on a regular basis to review ongoing initiatives, finances and fund raising.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) including reports from the Chairman and Treasurer is open to the public. Trustees for the coming year are elected at the AGM.
