Performances and Events

Semley Village Hall organises several community events each year. These provide opportunities for people of all ages to get involved, thereby improving health and well-being, increasing social inclusion and reducing loneliness.

Film Nights and On-Line Performances

The Semley Film Club committee screens newly released films during the months of October to March, and plans to screen live on-line performances depending on demand.

Live Music

We plan to host several performers throughout the year to provide a wide variety of music. Please click here for more details.

Visiting Speakers and Group Discussions

Collaborating with the Royal British Legion, Parish Council, and other local groups, we plan to host several events with invited speakers to talk about and discuss a wide range of contemporary, historical, and environmental topics, during the autumn and winter months.

Quiz Nights

Our quiz nights are always popular and we plan to hold these twice a year.

Seasonal Fayres

Our seasonal fayres are ideally suited for those looking for novel gifts and bargains and small businesses and local people who have items to sell.  Delicious snacks and drinks are served.

Annual Parish Meetings

We are delighted to host the Sedgehill and Semley  Annual Parish Meetings held every May and Semley Village Stores Annual General Meeting held every August.

Other Events

We are always on the lookout for new ideas and suggestions for community events. Please let us know your thoughts.

Health and Safety

Events organised by the Management Committee will be held in accordance with the Government regulations and guidelines current at the time of the event.

Change due to Circumstances
Unfortunately, some events will be subject to change, due to circumstances beyond our control, and we appreciate your understanding.
